Fighting Out the Recession:- Charity creates 20 jobs!

The charity Friendship Zone has joined forces to help combat unemployment in and around Northamptonshire. A new scheme by Future Job Fund is attempting to fight unemployment and in doing this has generously funded jobs for 20 young hopefuls in Northampton.

Friendship Zone is the first to be lucky enough to receive 20 places given by Northamptonshire Enterprise Limited. This number could soon rise to 50 places in which they are urging people to apply and get involved in this fantastic opportunity. This scheme will support Friendship Zones’ current programmes and their aspirations of ‘getting the kids off the streets!’

Northamptonshire Enterprise helps build sustainable economies for Northamptonshire’s communities and businesses. They help support various programmes which create new jobs and assist the growth of existing businesses by investment of more than £10 million a year into the Northamptonshire’s economy. Currently they are supporting the charity Friendship Zone who is hoping to make 20 peoples dreams come true in providing employment and valuable training for them.

Friendship Zone is a social networking website which members can apply for various programmes online is which grants are given to help people achieve their dreams. This charity is unique like no other, as 100% of the revenues are reinvested back into the community and charitable projects suggested to Friendship Zone by its members.

Friendship Zone are not only providing employement for these people, but also giving invaluable training on how to find employment and telemarketing. These skills can be taken by the employees and carried with them into future job prospects.
